Adam, about 6 weeks ago, I installed oil lines and a trombone oil cooler. At the track, I was running around 250 degrees in 70 degree weather. This was no different from when I had no front oil cooler at all. A week ago, I installed a Carerra cooler and took the car to the track. My temps were no higher than 215 degrees. No fan, by the way. I would strongly suggest you just bite the bullet and get a good oil cooler.
