It's an old pic. It started infront of the 2nd floor. It was the proverbial Xmas tree light fire. It immediately got onto the walls going up. The fire was only foreward and up so you could still make a fast aggressive attack on the second floor knocking the majority down. The attic was then where the action was. There was 3 of us up there for over 1/2hr. Small fire was continually going up from various places in the walls. While the 2nd floor walls were opened and hosed it pushed the small wall fires up. After our Scott Packs emptied one guy got out. We were then snorting the fog stream for air. We were laughing because my partner was younger than me and had no experience doing that sort of thing. It became against the rules to do that when Scott Packs were introduced. Some things you can't learn in school anymore.
I have been around since before the use of Scott Packs that started around '75.
