I can't tell you how many times i've heard of an unexperianced individual exiting a freeway and downshifting and dumps the clutch 2 gears lower than they were expecting, causing the 911 to go into a spin. Now an experianced driver would know the shifting better, but also be able to push the clutch back in and catch his mistake before causing any damage or loosing control.
