[Superman]

I am told that the "president" gave a speech last night. I am also told that the major networks were offered the opportunity to air it, but declined (not newsworthy, they said). Either he spoke or he didn't, and if he did, the networks were apparently correct. I see no thread here. It's as if there was no speech. Was there a speech? I heard there was one, where the "president" outlined how bad it might get. I guess he didn't want us to be surprised. Candidly, he didn't have me to worry about on that score. Did he take questions? Oops, silly question.
