Okay, I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but it's cross threaded at the top, not stripped. The spark plug goes in at a slight angle (the tip of the spark plug isn't in the middle of the spark plug hole) and eventually it stops. The top 1/3 of the spark plug hole is shiny from being cross threaded while the rest of the threading is dirty. Heli-coil will require removing the head, right? Any other ideas besides heli-coil?
