I lost a $1200 computer because of Paypal. The buyer was a verified paypal account. They paid for my computer via paypal, It was verified and in good standing. I waited 3 days before allowing the purchaser to pick up the computer. They did. The next day paypal reversed the charge because they said it was a fraudulent transaction. I was out of the $$$ because I let the buyer pick it up and did not have an electronic confirmation of delivery.

Paypal doesn't loose anything. If there is a problem with a fraudelent tansaction they just take the funds from the seller. I had been using paypal for 5 years as buyer and seller prior to this. I now don't take paypal.
