Well, i'm in the final process of taking out my 951 engine. Pretty smooth overall... I was always a bit frightened about the nuts that hold the exhaust manifold to the head, yep, the rusty ones. Well, i just put on my 13mm socket and tried it, expecting to be all stuck and all they just came off. Should be a bit careful, i only took two off so far, but that took no effort at all. Can it be that my exhaust manifold has just been loose all those years??
Also: i've been trying to find out if the turbo is connected to the block in any way. It does seem it's somehow connected to the block, but i don't see a bolt or anything. It would be nice to be sure EVERYTHING is disconnected before i drop the engine out
Any tips on the above would, as always, be welcome
