I would suggest that you:
Get the weight off the tires by using jack-stands on the suspension;
not too high, just enough to get the tires off the ground.
Disconnect the battery cables and remove the battery. No fuss, no worries. Then recharge the battery when needed.
Put STA-BIL gas stabilizer in the gas tank.
Cover the exhaust openings with strong plastic and tape.
