nostatic is right on with the Carreras....just ask Bruce Anderson he will tell you.
My sources tell me
that if you pass 90K without a problem...then you will be ok all the way through. Mine has 93K with very little burning of oil
150-170K without a significant problem is not uncommon either. it seems to be just the random Carrera that experiences the valve wear issue early in life.
