I like to tool but I don't see a need for it.
A good sharp blow to the yoke on your disassembly stand and the case halves jump apart. No beating, no prying. The engine is already in the stand so the only additional work is to swing the hammer. For those of you who take a great deal of pride in your one and only engine stand, be warned ! "This method is hazardous to your stands appearance".
That's why all of our engines come apart on the same stand.
