I stayed at the Marriott Financial District (across the street from Ground Zero) for the last 4 days.
I was in 'Windows on the World' for dinner with a crew on the Sunday before the Tuesday morning 9/11. My credit card was never charged for that dinner.
The fact is that terrorists do not care about us, or our freedoms. They count on taking advantage of our freedoms to allow them to gain access to our infrastructures (like our airlines) to damage us.
I too, share a bias here. I wish there was an answer. Any kind of an answer.
