I disagree with step #6. If the Flangeister was already changed as has been recommended in this thread, then we would have to eliminate the possibility that the trans is causing the miss. Unless, of course, the new car he buys has already had the conversion, then the miss has been eliminated. Correct? Thought so. This is why I will stand by my opinion and recommend the muffler bearing be replaced immediately before additional damage occurs to the Farfrompoopin diaphram.
