I was on the forum some time ago, with starting problem with my 944.

I replaced the DME with another used one – problem was still there.
I replaced DME relay and the car started right up.

Well the car is not my daily driver so I was having some other cosmetic work done when the problem came back several weeks later. Except this time it would start some days and not start for several day later, it would just come and go sometimes within the same day.

- We have NO spark.
- I had a mechanic look at it, he said there was no power going to the injectors, I’m not sure how he checked it. I’m assuming he did have the ignition ON.
- I even replaced the DME relay again just to see if the new relay went bad.
- I had previously checked both DMEs modules when the car would start and they both worked, but when the car does not start both DMEs will NOT get the car started either. So that has been eliminated.
- The both crank sensors were changed less than 3000 miles ago when the flex-plate was replaced.

My guess is that either it is the ignition switch or crank sensor spacing.
