I, too am working on the multi-stream approach. I'm taking some "automotive care" training in August to learn a craft; wife is doing realestate and teaching teachers. I may have an opportunity with a former employer in Medford... There are options for me so that's good.

I have a few friends that work either for the government or utilities and they have the same, secure feeling you do. After working in the chemistry field for over 15 years, I think I'm done. I've always had a job, but have never been able to live in one place for more than 4.5 years. Now with three kids who need stability and to be able to grow up with some friends, the time for moving around has ended.

The next few months with be interesting for us!
