It's fairly simple to me. I don't go to McDonalds for Chinese food, and I don't order burgers and french fries in Chinatown either.

If I buy shoes, they are not going to be made by Porsche or Rolex etc. My point is, I like to get an item that is made by a company that mostly specializes in making those items.

I would feel that the best place for Porsche parts would be this forum and others like it. From enthusiasts, to enthusiasts.

There are watch forums, close-knit communities like this one, where you have trust among the participants. It would make sense to look for a blacksmith/bladesmith forum and do some research before buying something like that too.
