I lost the argument, or at least did not win it, regarding the relationship between political affiliation and education level. Nevertheless, we have a striking concentration of educated people here in Western Washington (something like 25% have Masters' Degrees), and it so happens we are voracious readers. I think those might both be national records. Average education level and book sales. So, Mul may be correct in that we are too stupid to button our own shirts, but we sure can rip through literature. And we're extremely liberal here. Extremely.
