Opinions vary on the use of the "aluminum" wrap vs. stock pad> I bought the aluminum pad then went back to the OEm pad, it seemed more durable and I heard that the aluminum pad may trap condensation behind it over the years. No proof but enought to make me shell out more $$ for the OEM and install it.
