that's what I mean.... audi and vw have always worked together too, but they refused to have "too many" 4wd cars in the states. I just wonder why? After all, other than the emblem and the engine, there is no difference between an Audi A3 and the R32.
People that buy VW's don't always buy Audi and meanwhile there is Subaru stealing customers b/c of the traction benefit (New England etc.) How many more sales would VW have if they offered a cheaper EUROPEAN alternative to Subaru?
