I disagree with this completely. That would be putting a Carrera RS decal on a VW or a Honda.
To make a clone of a vehicle and badge it accordingly, is IMO, the purest form of flattery.
When I build my RSR and do the Martini paint scheme am I going to have a "poser" car? No... I think not. Again, it is simply a way to keep a vintage look alive in the current years. Most GOOD RS copies are much better cars than the original anyway, so who is to say what is pure? If you look at a lot of the early racing cars, they had ill fitting parts, basically quick and somewhat sloppy paint jobs etc... To make a "replica" is just that. Usually better. For instance in this thread the car has a 3.0 liter engine. Better than original??? Hmmm...
So I say keep the badge and keep the RS look alive.
BTW would anyone here call Jack a "poser" for having an RSR badge on his Bastard??? I think not. Then what is the prob with the RS...
