I would lean towards the '89 as the 5 spd is a better combination than the 4 spd - I've driven both and I wouldn't think twice about this decision. I also agree that Excellence prices are typically low and the California market must be the lowest in the country. Some of the prices I see "posted" on this board are amazingly low.
