There is no need to remove the dash to remove radio. There are two little slits on the bottom corners. You need to insert special keys to unlock the radio from the sleeve, then it just pulls out. The system may or may not have an external amp, if it does you can still use the amp but I would suggest not. An aftermarket radio will be a big improvement for sound quality. Good luck
