I acquired my 1972T Targa when my oldest daughter was about 2 years old. While we were dragging the car home she made a comment about how maybe that could be her car since her mom and I each already had one. We all laughed, but she took it seriously.
A year or so later my wife needed a new battery for our truck and walked into a very crowded Advance Auto store.
My three year old yells "Hey! Excuse me."
A man behind the counter says to her "Can I help you little lady?"
She answers "We need a new battery."
The man asks "Well what kind of car do you have?"
She answers "Well, I(emphasis here) have a Porsche, but we need a new battery for my mom's truck."
We've laughed about it ever since. Guess I'll laugh until she turns 16, huh
later,
Rob
