How can you guys ignore the facts?
Did you say that I have the facts wrong? No, you just attacked me and said I was wrong.
How can I be wrong if the facts are correct?
The facts are pretty simple if you look at them without bias.
1. Most of the 9/11 terrorists were Saudi's.
2. The Saudi government will try anything to keep power.
3. Many of the Saudi people hate the USA, and wanted us out...............there were even riots if you bother to of read the BBC once in a while.
4. Many Saudi's listen to extremists like Bin Laden and are sympathy to their cause.
As you see the Bush administration does not control the Saudi government (neither has any other administration). The Saudi government barely has influence/control over it's own populace...................unlike the USA there is blending of organized religion and politics. Drat, that's how Bush got elected; I have to take that last one back.
The point is, the air base closing by the house of Saud, has nothing to do with liberals or conservatives in the USA- I was yanking your chains. I somehow expected a higher level of discussion from you boys. Who was I kidding?
The facts as listed have everything to do with the Saudi government appeasement of extremists within it's own boarders, the Bush appeasement is just a mirror reaction, certainly beyond this administrations diplomatic ability to counter.
The USA under Bush has lost more ground in the Mid-East in 3-1/2 years than in the last 50 years.
Next time stay focused on the topic, and don't attack the messenger. I did not make up the facts or create the events. I merely pointed out the irony and the tragedy inherent in the Bush hypocrisy.
