Most obstetricians work at least 60 hours/week. In our town, the doctors mostly have private practices and "moonlight" at the hospital for $48/hr.
Dr. Smith worked about 50-60 hours/week and made about $120,000/year. (That's a guess, but likely a pretty good one.)
