As the 'official' Hey, Wait for Me Racing "Team Graphic Interpolator / Chartologist" I think your view of HWFM racing is a bit off.
HWFM Racing is
A Team devoted to the fine art of driving fast cars slowly. Some of the team are involved in club racing, and many are involved with DE's. It's just a 'tongue in cheek' group that has fun with their cars. BTW: Many of them drive Wasser-pumper 944's.
Some of their team slogans:
"If you spin often enough, sooner or later, you'll hit an apex."
"Slow in, slow out, and slow down the straight."
"What's the hurry?"
"Working our way up to 'slow'"
"Drive it like your grandmother stole it."
"Why procrastinate? Apex early!"
They don't take themselves too seriously. Neither should you.
Now I'd like to see is a showdown: SCWDP vs. HWFMR.
