My Mom is on her second New Beetle, (a '99 and now an '04), when I was back in Minnesota last winter I drove it around w/ the flower in the vase, etc..
As a younger guy it would have offended my (misplaced) sense of macho, but now I don't give a darn if strangers think that I might be gay or a Catholic priest or something.
Although I secretly wanted to get into a roadrage fight just to see someone get their ass beat by a "sissy".
