this is not even close to JP's drama, but it's pretty good.

my friend is riding in the jump seats of an 11 ton FD engine. The rig is heading downhill in a major city approaching an intersection packed with cars at a red light. The brakes fail on the downhill and the rig is gonna kill a bunch of people in a couple of seconds. The chauffer does a hard left into a side street and almost flips the rig as it takes down a pole at the corner while the rig is in a bit of oversteer. Now the rig is aimed at the opposite side of the street at who knows what speed. The rig takes down an electric pole and crashes head on into a parked SUV. The SUV explodes as they both slow to a stop. The fire engulfs the front 3/4 of the cab and stray flames are kissing the guys getting out the jumpseats. The officer is slightly toasted. The chauffer gets out clean. The chauffer puts the pump in gear before leaving his seat. They put the fire out then stop for a second to see the hot electric wires draped all over the rig. No serious injuries and nobody killed.
