84porsche, before sept.11, me and my friends would climb up on the bridges to have lunch. we go under the guise that the bridge needs "inspecting". we actually went on a suspension bridge tour, i only have the golden gate bridge to climb and i would have done all of them in the bay area. i am a bridge engineer with the state, so i have a key to the small hatch that lets you onto the towers. my girlfriend's uncle, is a engineer on the goldengate bridge, so i am trying to work that angle. security is starting to relax again, so i may start the "lunches" again.

btw, even if you are afraid of heights, the beginning tends to be the only scary part. once you get way up there, it gets kinda abstract, and you dont realize you're up that high. fun stuff.
