Let's do some simple analysis here. Who is expected to be more mature? More controlled? More responsible in their actions? A child or a full grown woman? Understanding that people are human, even when elected to public office, which action is farther across the line of civility -- sticking out your tongue or telling a reporter to "shove it?"

A couple of things. Numero uno would be that Jenna Bush is hardly a "child", unless you mean a 22 y.o. who is staring down a life where working for a living will never be remotely necessary. Secondly, where is all of the criticism of her? I've only read *about the criticism* here on this board, I've never actually seen it in print. Just for the record, I thought that the "tongue out" deal was funny, not offensive in the least. People are just so desparate to find a molehill to stick their flag in, come on, there are real issues to discuss.
I agree that Kerry's wife is not a very appealing personality, I wish that she was, but that's the way it goes. Most of our First Ladies have seemed nice, who knows what they are really like? Their staff does, that's who.

I've experienced my share of Kerry haters since I put his bumper sticker on my car. The other night I was parking in front of a restaurant and a lightly lubricated group was watching from a few feet away.
"You would never see that sticker on that car, (911), back home".
(Don't know where they hailed from, Podunk somewhere).
"Let's beat him up. Hehehe....."
I stepped out and winked, "I'm ready for you".
(It was 3 young-ish couples). Two couples high-tailed it quickly, the third tried to make stupid-ass small talk w/ me about the car. There are plenty of idiots to go around for each party, let's discuss issues and have an election. (A fair one would be nice this time).
