Recently my friends 1989 944S2 was loosing power while cruising. So I suggested it might be the throttle position switch.
He replaced it with a new one and the problem went away.
Less than 1K miles later it is back.
Any suggestions?
Basically this... driving along on the highway and the car will fall back to as if your foot was off the throttle... then tap the pedal with your toe a couple of times and she comes back.
Sounds like TPS to me.
But suggestions ?
