Nothing backwards about it, he is a traitor to the Democratic party only. As far as anyone being a traitor to their country, you accuse people who have worn the uniform and risked their lives for the U.S., then spent the remaining years in public service as "traitors". You are seriously off-base in your thinking, and most sane Republicans would agree w/ me.
