Ann is very bright and articulate; she cuts right through the chaff to the meat of the matter. She is also supernaturally intense and frequently venomous. MHO is many libs recoil at the intensity, not the toxicity, b/c libs frequently can't match the acuity of her delivery -- but have no problem with poisonous messages (and messengers) of their own.

I frequently find myself in agreement with what she writes, but just as frequently cringing at her delivery. When I saw the title of this thread I knew (having read her piece early yesterday afternoon) what it was, who had written it and that there would be a counterattack based on viscera, not principled refutation of what she'd said.
