I guess I think that GW stretched the truth and/or believed what he wanted to believe on more than one occasion. I think JFK did about the same thing. Do you know he wasn't in Cambodia? As for the other part about Nixon not being president, it is difficult to tell out of context what exactly he (JFK) was refering to. And if in fact he did mean to say that Nixon was president in Dec. '68, that isn't much of a misstep imho. But he could have been talking about Johnson...again, can't tell from the quote taken out of context.
Do you guys think that GW might have "expanded the truth" in his biography to help make himself look better? Or is everything he said in there the gospel truth?
