But I do think highly of RMN. Although, to a large extent, we retreated from Vietnam, he was instrumental in a pulling out of the region. Yes, it might have been to appease the Chinese as he and Kissinger (another great statesman), were in talks with the country.
I think history has treated our ex-presidents well. Nixon, Carter, Reagan. Odds are Bush will be held in high esteem as well for his successful nation building and eradication of Islam as the dirty and unholy existence of modern mankind.
