I just can't believe that SBVfT are doing it "for truth". The impression I get is that they harbour old grudges for Kerry's activism after the war. They have enough motive to call their "independent" credibility into question, and that is before you start looking at their source of funding.

Jason: The fiction that the Sandinistas were some noble and righteous cause, and Reagan was supporting murderers, is just that, a fiction. An evil intentionally deceptive fiction.

That's not the point of contention. The point of contention is that Reagan wouldn't leave Nicaragua (amongst others) alone. The world is not, and never has been, a play thing for the US to manipulate in its own best interests. Some people believe this (especially those OUTSIDE the US) and some don't.

Basically what you fail to understand is that people (like me) can be against the Sandinistas AND the Contras. The enemy of my enemy IS NOT my friend.
