"Hey...What do you think I am?"
"We have already established that. We are now negotiating the price."
It's happened before, and it will happen again...sadly......
But, no matter who, and no matter when, the defense that none of us were there to be actual eye witnesses means that any party can pretty well say whatever they please about members of the other and get away with it.
This country is on a slippery slope.
