jose, thanks for asking such a timely question. here are a few hints
well, that all depends on what you are trying to accomplish. for most situations a simple MagLite with C cells will do. some prefer small tire thumpers (available at any good truck stop) that can be easily placed under the seat. most, however, prefer a bit more heft and keep items such as breaker bars and large Crescent wrenches behind the seat. I don't really agree with this last choice, as they make it too difficult to hide intent and can also leave embarrassing identifying marks on the hapless victims. imagine the look on your mom's face when the cops show up for this one, eh? personally, I have always preferred large-caliber firepower and still swear by my trusty old Lousiville Slugger. sure, the technology is somewhat antiquated, but man, whip one of those out and you'll feel like Dirty Harry. the chicks dig 'em too. just remember one thing, it's not the size of the tool, but the size of the damage on the pitiful fool you leave lying in the gutter
