Does anybody know where to get an oil filter cutter that fits the uniquely sized threaded mount of a 911 oil filter? Our host doesn't carry them--and if he did, he'd be unique in the industry, according to what Google turns up. I used to religiously open my filter on my various airplanes (various but owned one at a time...) because it's a huge indicator of what's going on inside the engine, depending on what you find in the pleats of a spread-out element, what color it is, whether it's magnetic or not, how much of it there is, etc. I'd like to be able to do it on the Porsche as well, but standard oil filters won't fit the 911 base.
