Yep, if equality is what's requested, then let them have equality.

My wife spent all our money, made life emotionally difficult for me, then moved to Arizona. She's been employed (or operating her own business) for the entire 25+ years I have known her. Still, I am talking with her attorney about not just child support, but "rehabilitative maintenance" (Washington States equivalent of alimony) and a split of debts and assets that heavily favors her. So.........if the roles were reversed, kind of laughs do you suppose I'd hear if I requested the treatment?

Okay, that's as far down that road as I intend to go in this discussion. but I will report that there are females out there that can usually clobber a grown man. My daughter's roommate has been observed cleaning the clocks of some ordinary (not necessarily wimpy) grown men.

If I caught a woman trying to steal my car, I'd probably try to stop her. If she took a poke at me, I'd assume Roger's Rules of Order are no longer in play.
