I don't get it....
Here Ford builds the equivalant of a 917-for-the-street ( if *Porsche* built a car like this)...and still the hard line arguments that are so subjective because our Porsche's don't come out looking so good.
Ford did an admirable job, and the car is just wet-my-pants fantastic. This shape never grows old. I love my Porsche's and the heritage and history and all that...but the Ford GT is a truly awesome car very much along the stripes of a Carrera GT....no question.
Just don't get me started on the Daimler/Chrysler ME12. Quad turbo V-12 with 200 *more* hp than either the Carrera GT or Enzo. Top end of about 240-250 mph. McLaren F1 territory....for ( hold on now !)...$440k.
Porsche again misses the price/performance mark on *both* ends !!
