I will add my info on conversions. I just recently found a used set of 993TT brakes that were set up for an SC. They were a good price and something I couldn't pass up in the overall scope of my project.
One thing that is never realized is how different these brakes are from the stock A/M setup. Here are a few pics just for comparision. I will have a thread detailing installation in the coming weeks. I first have to source a new hardline for the one that was smashed in shipping.
The comparison parts are the Race Tech 993 kit. you are looking at the rear 993TT caliper and a front 993TT rotor/hat next to an M caliper/911 front rotor. they are positively dinky by comparison. Now I know all about thermal reserve.
