I've done a lot of research into this since my initial post, I think I've got the system figured out.
Its been done before, and seems as though it would be a simple system to adapt. yes some fabricating would be nessasary, but this isn't a problem for me.
Now its just a matter of getting my bug back from the body shop and getting to work fabricating a system that will fit inside the space avaliable.
