Its definitely possible but there is no such thing as turn-key with this kind of conversion. You have a lot of the same issues that 914 guys run into when converting from 4 to 6 like oil tank mounting, engine sheet metal, etc. Big bucks but a lot of fun when its done. John Larson, a frequent poster on the 914 list, has a 911 6 cyl. in his bus. I don't remember if it was a Vanagon or a later 70's type 2, though. I'll see if I can dig up his email address.
