I totally agree with that. Many of the accepted "experts" here give out advice on cars they have NEVER worked on, never even driven, and probably have rarely even SEEN.
Which has lead to plenty of wrong info, even from the "experts," over the years. Some of which has been pretty funny.
Which makes people like John Walker invaluable. It's one thing to regurgitate info read in a book - but having the experience of working on thousands of 911s over many, many years is invaluable.
