Because productive as they are many of them are severly over-paid on the world scale, living in a nice house, in a nice 'hood, with nice cars, all the while complaining that some poor sap living in a hut, working 7 days a week for pennies is taking his job; it's so unfair.
Of course the same guy will go down to the local mega-tool-mart and buy that $2 China-made hammer that will only last a few weeks instead of that $20 hammer that'll last a lifetime, thereby sending overseas the job of the guy nextdoor who works at the highly productive hammer factory; it's only fair.
