I loved my black 911. I believe Porsche only painted the 911 colors like red, blue, etc.. when they ran out of black.
That said I'd never, ever, get a black truck. The only worse combo would be a big black SUV. All the stories about black are true but the 911 is a breeze to wash. White or silver for a truck. Oh and I like the Frontier quad cab, though I would recommend a leather interior. They wear better than the cloth seats and are easy to clean. Good luck!
