Fast and the furious doesn't even have a concept like high dollar cars, or racing in the top level, instead (poorly) modified, mostly import cars, that are illegally driven on public roads. Maybe if I lived in england it'd be a bit more interesting

Poorly modified!? Ahmet lay off the pipe man... The cars in that movie for the most part are extremely fast. From people on other bbs that have already seen the movie, practically every car is turboed. I guarantee the Supra in that movie runs in the 11s in the 1/4 miles. They may be rice, but they are still damn fast cars.
