Au contraire, Wayne - the 914 can be a chick magnet. Many years ago when I had my first 914 ('74, 2.0 liter) as my daily driver a girl who worked near me came over to my store one day and said that her car had died. She asked for a ride home and I obliged. One thing led to another, we dated for awhile and several months into the relationship she confessed that her car had not really conked out. She just wanted a ride in the 914 and to get to know better the guy who owned it. She got her dad to take her back to work to pick up her car a little bit later. As in many relationships begun with a lie this one eventually petered out (no pun intended
