Noah, I agree, I used to get that when I bought the car. My '84 always gets a few extra looks and most people think it's newer. I've even had to show a few the stamp to prove the car's age. They also think that it must have cost way more than they do. Try explaining that one: New rice, or slightly broken in P-car for the same price? No contest.

Now, as for the date thing.... I tried not to say anything to my now fiance on our first date. We had met at the restaurant for dinner and had a great time. I offered to walk her to her car, which happened to be parked right next to mine. So much for that. Needless to say, she's been bugging me about "breaking" it in. I'll just stop there and let her go on believing what she wants!
