If you are afraid of having your IP seen on hte internet, disconnect. Every e-mail you send has YOUR IP in the header, as well as the IP of every mail server that forwarded the message. This is how I know that when a friend e-mails me from Maryland the message goes through Hawaii. As a network engineer, your IP is just like your street address. Having the address is only a starting point if you are going to break in. But then there are port scanners that will scan massive networks for vurnable computers. Wayne isn't dumb enough to risk the security of a large part of his client base. If you don't want you IP visable fine, but it doesn't matter.
